findCRA’s President, COO & Co-Founder Leads CRA Modernization Rountable at the 2022 EITL Forum

findCRA’s President, COO, & Co-Founder, Brian Waters, will join Marty Mitchell of ProBank Austin as the “Experts in the Loop” to discuss CRA modernization at Compliance.ai’s 2022 EITL Forum.

The virtual roundtable will be held on Tuesday, September 7, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. Eastern.  During the hourlong session, Brian and Marty will provide an update on the interagency proposed rule to modernize CRA, the present versus proposed future state of CRA, and how the new CRA proposed rule impacts digital and fintech banks.  A portion of the roundtable will also be open for questions and answers and general discussion with conference participants.

“I always welcome the opportunity to provide guidance and subject matter expertise in all areas of CRA, especially with the current industry focus on modernizing the rule.  While the proposed rule has some positive impacts for banks, we’ve heard from many bankers and other industry participants that they is still room for improvement to accommodate the many innovative ways banks are operating today, especially in serving low- and moderate-income individuals and communities.” said Mr. Waters.

The Expert-in-The-Loop Forum by Compliance.ai is the industry’s only event specific to regulatory change management for the BFSI industry. The event brings together risk and compliance management executives and leaders from regulatory agencies that focus on regulatory concerns of banking, insurance, fintech, asset managers, and other financial services firms.  The EITL Forum provides an opportunity to make new connections, share best practices, and discuss regulatory directions and trends.  The virtual event will be held on September 7th and 8th and registration is open at https://www.compliance.ai/about-eitl-forum/.
