HUD: Disaster Assistance for Nebraska Disaster Survivors Announced

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) today announced the implementation of federal disaster assistance for areas in the State of Nebraska affected by affected by severe storms and straight-line winds from July 9 to July 10, 2021.

On September 6, 2021 President Biden issued a major disaster declaration for the following counties: Box Butte, Cass, Clay, Douglas, Fillmore, Grant, Hall, Hamilton, Madison, Sarpy, Saunders, Sheridan, Washington, and York.

The President’s declaration allows HUD to offer assistance to impacted families living in these counties. Effective immediately, HUD is:
