What happens if I let my CRA Certification lapse?

CRA Certifications are valid for one year from the date that they are issued to your Nonprofit.

After that one year period, you must complete a renewal application and submit your renewal fee within 30 days of your certification expiration or your certification will expire.

If you allow your CRA Certified Nonprofit status expire, you will need to complete a new application and pay $300 initial application fee.  We require a new application because we will need to re-assess your CRA eligibility and recreate your CRA Tools.
