The Community Development Financial Institutions Fund (CDFI Fund) has posted on its website an updated calendar year (CY) 2022 New Markets Tax Credit Program (NMTC Program) Allocation Application Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) document.
The updates to this document are provided in response to questions submitted through the Service Request feature in the CDFI Fund’s Award Management Information System (AMIS) for the conference call Question & Answer Webinar hosted on December 1, 2022. Please note that all updated guidance information is provided in Section I of the updated FAQs document.
The updates include additional guidance on how Applicants should discuss the benefits to Low-Income Persons and residents of Low-Income Communities that will result from the proposed NMTC investments.
The updated document can be found on the CDFI Fund’s website at www.cdfifund.gov/nmtc under Step 2: Apply.
Additional questions may be directed to the CDFI Fund through the Service Request feature in AMIS. Those entities that do not have an AMIS account should submit questions to nmtc@cdfi.treas.gov. In submitting your questions, please provide specific details to help us provide timely responses.
Please keep in mind that the deadline for questions concerning the CY 2022 NMTC Allocation Application is 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time on January 24, 2023.
