Successful Connection Story: MainSource Bank Donates Computers to CASI through findCRA

In celebration of the 2014 holiday season, findCRA is excited to share the generosity of MainSource Bank, who stepped up and donated 15 corporate computers to Community Action of Southern Indiana (CASI)!  While searching though findCRA’s online project listing, MainSource discovered that CASI needed office equipment and supplies for their Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program.  With the program just a few months away and MainSource in the process of decommissioning a large number of back-office PCs, it was a perfect opportunity for the two organizations to connect.  A manager from MainSource soon contacted findCRA to offer the computers, and on November 20th, findCRA was proud to deliver these computers to CASI.  The team at CASI will use the computers to update technology in their Volunteer Income Tax Assistance site and replace terminals in their Micro-Enterprise Training Center.  MainSource is meeting with CASI in the next few weeks about how to further their CRA partnership in Southern Indiana.

“It was great working with findCRA!  We love their site and are thrilled they were able to find us great computers that will help our clients.  Now that we don’t have to spend money on new computers or fixing old ones, we can use the extra funds to further meet the needs of all the people we serve.” – Phil Ellis & Marilyn Warren, CASI
