Census Bureau: Household Pulse Survey Phase 3.10 Announced

The U.S. Census Bureau today announced the beginning of data collection for phase 3.10 of the experimental Household Pulse Survey (HPS). The HPS is an effort by the Census Bureau and other federal statistical agencies to inform federal and state response and recovery planning by providing near real-time data on the social and economic effects of the COVID-19 pandemic and other emergent issues on American households.

Phase 3.10 includes new, reinstated and updated questions. Some previously asked questions have been removed.

The Census Bureau is set to release data from this phase on September 20, October 11 and November 8. HPS results are available on our website through the Household Pulse Survey Interactive Tooldetailed tables and a public-use data file.
